Keep it neat, keep it tight. So no zip ties, but real clamps, the original ones!
This hose clamp is used, among other things, to secure the air hose to the air filter housing. If it comes loose, you could get dirt into the engine.
This clamp is also used to secure the intake manifold rubber to the intake manifold. It's also not very helpful if it comes loose.
Hoses that come loose cause nasty problems!
