NB: The first letter in a battery's type designation corresponds to the manufacturer's name. Y stands for Yuasa, N for Nitro, L for Landport, etc. Since Vespa and Piaggio scooters are factory-fitted with a Yuasa battery, we include that type number in the product title. However, as you can see in the photo, a Nitro battery is labeled NTC4L-SLA. The BS in the battery name means "Battery Sealed," meaning the battery is maintenance-free and therefore sealed. SLA stands for "Sealed Lead Acid," which means the same thing: sealed and therefore maintenance-free.
