This Malossi MHR Cylinder Kit has been under development since 1983 and has been continuously improved over the years.

Improvements include the materials used, such as Nikasil aluminum for the cylinder and a molybdenum sulfide coating for the piston, as well as increasingly optimized intake and exhaust ports and the shape of the cylinder head.
