This air filter element from Malossi has 2 layers with different pore sizes.

The first layer (45 pores per inch) filters coarse sand and other harmful particles from the intake air, after which the second layer (60 pores per inch) keeps even more harmful microscopic dust particles out of the engine.

Both flame-retardant layers, made of polyurethane foam, are bonded together using a special thermal process so that the filter properties are not negatively affected.

It is recommended to soak the filter in Malossi 7.1 oil, wring it out gently, and then install it.
