Replace your original CDI with this one from Malossi.

This changes the ignition timing, which releases more power from your engine. Furthermore, this CDI allows for higher engine speeds.

It also controls the secondary air supply, the electric choke, the coil charging time and the strength of the spark emitted by the spark plug.

With this racing CDI, speeds of 65 to 70 km/h can be achieved if all other components relevant to the speed are optimally matched. For example, you'll need to install it with a fast multivar engine to begin with, but you'll also need to consider carburetion, camshafts, exhaust systems, etc.

Note: This CDI is NOT suitable for 4-stroke 2V or 4-stroke 3V engines.
